Review 1: LFT Hotel
Hotel food is EXPENSIVE! Hotel brunch was $16.75 with no discount for ASA crews.
Review 2: Mustang Sally's Restaurant & Bar
$2.00 beer at happy hour, 4-7pm. Good food; moderately priced.
Review 3: LFT Area - 4/1/08
Some other restaurants/things to do: The Blue Dog Cafe - just down the street on Pinhook St. They serve a Sunday brunch that is delicious with all you can drink Bloody's and mimosas. Chili's - Just down the street with a good happy hour. Outback Steakhouse - Other side of the bridge. Cafe Vermillionville - Expensive, but beautiful restaurant with a full bar and nice atmosphere. Tokyo Live - Habachi/Sushi restaurant with lively bar scene across the river from the hotel. Downtown Lafayette - Lots of fun bars and great restaurants. Van will usually bring you one way (8 mins) and then cab back. There is live music free downtown on Fridays in Spring and Fall check Downtownalive.org for details.
Review 4: LFT Area - 4/12/08
Not a great location. There is an Outback and Chilis close, not much else. They charge $9.95/Day for Internet use, which is ridiculous!
Review 5: Blue Dog Cafe - 6/1/08
There is a great local restraunt in LFT within walking distance from the hotel. It is the Blue Dog Cafe. I am from there and it is by far one of the best places for local Cajun cuisine.
Review 6: Hilton Hotel - 09/17/10
Good hotel, bad location.,,Internet is now free for ASA - Delta Connection, accept the room charge and the hotel covers the cost. There is a complementary Continental Breakfast in the Lobby from 430-630 in the lobby, just coffee and bagels. However, we also get access to the Executive Lounge, make sure to ask desk to activate your key card because you need it to get to the 15th floor where the Exec. Lounge is located. You can get breakfast in the Exec. Lounge that includes eggs, biscuits, fruit, and cereal along with other continental breakfast items.,,There are a few restaurants in the area within walking distance, but not much else to do. It is a pretty bad long overnight, make sure to bring something to do or you will get bored. Again, the hotel is great, it's the location that needs to be changed, especially for long overnights.
